A Very Manly Christmas

Merry day after Christmas everyone! Hopefully you’re all getting something of a relaxing recovery day today. Of course Christmas can have different levels of exhaustion though. If you’re like me you spent your whole day traveling to various households opening presents and eating, all the while filling in the gaps using a massive ax to split wood so your family could sit around the fire that night and read Christmas stories to each other. Or something like that.

If your wife/mom/sister/friend was really on her A-game this year, she checked out our Ultra Manly Gift Guide 2011. Maybe you didn’t get that relaxation module you wanted, but what did you get?

Did you get any book club books? What was the most manly gift you received?

Please share in the comment section–the person with the most manly gift received will win a special prize!!!*

About Luke

Luke learned to read at the age of two, whereupon he decided, like much of the male population, that it was a chore to be done only when absolutely necessary. Then suddenly at age nineteen, he discovered good books—he has been reading voraciously ever since, earning multiple literature and writing degrees. At any given moment you'll find him reading at least one book, smoking a cigar, up fifty feet in a tree he free-climbed.

Currently Reading:
Collected Stories by Alexander Pushkin
-Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxas
The Mystery of Being by Gabriel Marcel
